CAT TERRITORY

'Cats make wonderful companions but they do need their independence and like to come and go as they please. They are most active during the early morning and late evening, usually when we are asleep - and one of their favourite activities is to patrol and defend their territory which usually consists of their owner's garden walls and fences. Their home is the most important part of their territory as it provides them with regular food, a safe place to rest, and - with the help of a cat flap - is always accessible!'
