'Despite is unusual and disreputable-looking coat the Komondor is an imposing and effective guard dog with powerful jaws. This is an animal bred for living in the countryside and as such is not ideally suited to town life. The Komondor makes a devoted companion, but constant care of the coat is very demanding.'
